Breath Hold Diving or "Freediving" is about inward power, discipline and control. If you’ve always wanted to enter the underwater world quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you. Taking the PADI Breath Hold course is your first step toward discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves.
The Fun Part
You will experience relaxation like you have never known before! Without bubbles from scuba diving you will be able to get up close with marine life that may normally be skittish to divers.
What You Learn
The course is designed to increase your proficiency in breath hold diving in both depth and time. Techniques for mental and physical preparation will be discussed. Use of these techniques will not only make you a proficient freediver but will also increase your comfort and proficiency as a scuba diver.
Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Breath Hold Diver course, you must:
In the PADI Breath Hold Diver course, you learn to use a mask, snorkel and fins, and may also use a wetsuit and weight belt. Using gear designed specifically for freediving is best, however, in this course, you may be able to use snorkeling equipment you already own.
