PADI Public Safety Rescue Diver Course with PRO SCUBA CENTER

Public safety divers are exposed to difficult, challenging and changing environments - ponds, creeks, rivers, quarries, etc. with varying depths, obstacles, and temperatures. Due to the greater potential for entanglement and entrapment and the other hazards listed above, the public safety diver needs to be trained to prevent and manage these situations. The Public Safety Rescue Diver course focuses on reviewing basic rescue skills and developing advanced rescue skills necessary to the safety of the public safety diver and the members of his team.

If you are involved in public safety diving operations or simply want to develop advanced rescue skills well beyond the recreational dive level, this is the course for you.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the PADI Public Safety Rescue Diver course, you must be:

18 years or older
A PADI Rescue Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
A PADI Public Safety Diver

Be Better Prepared

If you do not already have it, current qualification in basic life support and secondary care of an ill or injured patient is required. We can assist you with this training through the PADI Emergency First Response course. Also, our Public Safety Search & Recovery Diver course will provide skills to enhance this course.
